Established in 1998 as a division of a respected hire company, Global Plant Sales Ltd achieved independence in 2001. Since then, they’ve gone on to build a strong reputation for offering high-quality arboricultural products for sale and hire, accompanied by efficient servicing.

Their purpose-designed facility in Kings Heath features a well-equipped workshop and spacious showroom, fully-stocked with industry-leading brands including Avant, Hustler, Kioti, Forst and, most recently, FSI Stump Cutters.

Opening up new audiences as an FSI Partner

“Our values at Global Sales align with FSI’s commitment to delivering industry-leading service and support and this is something we’re focused on delivering long into the future” explains Rod. “Our hire fleet includes multiple FSI stump grinders, which are frequently rented and used alongside our woodchippers and compact loaders. This gives us fantastic flexibility – able to offer both hire and sales options and allowing smaller companies or those without the regular demand for a grinder the opportunity to experience the quality of FSI.”

Rod goes on to emphasise this, with an example of a recent sale. “We took an FSI B22 out to a sceptical customer who, having used other brands of stump grinder, challenged us to grind a large poplar tree stump with the promise that if it could handle the ‘stringy’ nature of the wood, they’d buy one… Five minutes later we had the order for their new machine! Their enthusiasm hasn’t waned, and due to the speed and efficiency of the FSI B22, they’re now looking to add a second unit to their fleet. The machines just speak for themselves!”
