Meet our man in the field: Lee Hatton cultivates strong relationships for FSI UK

In 2023, the initial steps to fortify FSI’s presence in the British market were taken with the expansion and establishment of the English-based subsidiary, FSI Stump Cutters UK Limited. As a central part of this expansion, UK Sales Director Lee Hatton was brought on board.

 Lee brings with him a wealth of experience in arboriculture, ground care, viticulture, and agriculture. He is committed to working closely with valued partners, operators, and other stakeholders in FSI’s stump cutters, providing the technical and practical support needed to ensure that FSI remains the preferred choice for stump grinders.

After a few months at the helm of FSI UK, Lee holds an optimistic outlook on the future.

“It’s been a busy three months; there have been several highlights, the biggest being the UK tour I undertook with Kim Schmidt (FSI MD) to meet our existing and new FSI Partners. We chose them because of their dedication and passion not only for the brand and sales but also for after-sales support for you, the customer, who will always remain at the center of what I do,” tells Sales Director Lee Hatton.

Close collaboration with our partners, operators, and customers lies at the core of our operations. Our UK branch ensures that we’re always within reach of those who work with our stump grinders every day.

The regionalized approach to the FSI partner network ensures that we are close by when needed to provide timely and excellent service, advice, spare parts, and stump grinders. FSI doesn’t just sell top-quality stump grinders; we offer top-quality solutions and service. Strong ties with local partners and operators ensure that we deliver.

“We have now established the full partner network, and those dealers have begun to receive new machines and parts, ready to begin – and continue, in the case of existing FSI partners – providing high-level support to our valued end users. I am particularly looking forward to welcoming our FSI partners and customers to our stands at the Arb Show in May and, of course, The APF show later in the year. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for improved weather by then!” says Lee Hatton.

Lee continues “It’s pleasing to hear from end users and FSI partners about demonstrations taking place, customers receiving prompt service when ordering parts or requiring service and repairs on machines. It reinforces my view that we have aligned with the correct partners to best serve our valued customers’ needs.”
